Q: When and where is TEDxPhoenix taking place?
A: Our inaugural event took place on Friday, November 6th, 2009 at the Mesa Arts Center. We’re currently in the process of organizing our 2010 event, which will take place later this year.

Q: Who will be speaking at TEDxPhoenix?

Q: How do I become a TEDxPhoenix sponsor?
A: You can view our sponsor benefits and apply for sponsorship on the TEDxPhoenix Sponsor Page. TEDxPhoenix is a not-for-profit event, and all sponsor dollars and in-kind support goes towards venue and event expenses.

Q: What is TEDx?
A: If you’re completely new to TED and TEDx, then feel free to consult our guide for first time visitors. TEDx is a program that enables local communities to enjoy a TED-like experience through self-organized events. The TED organization supports these events by offering a free event toolkit, detailed advice, the right to use recorded TEDTalks, promotion on the TED site, connection to other TEDx organizers, and use of the TED brand in the form of the TEDx label.

Q: What is TED?
A: TED is a small nonprofit devoted to changing attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world by spreading ideas worth sharing. TED started out in 1984 as a modest event that brought people together from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, and Design. Since then, TED’s scope has become broader and the event has grown to include some of the most influential speakers, as well as some of the most fascinating thinkers and doers.
